The Reading Room contains a large selection of books suitable for all ages. The books can be borrowed by members to enjoy at home, simply by recording the titles in the lending folder. There are also some table games available. Facilities are provided to make tea and coffee, for which a small charge is made.
A range of information leaflets and posters covering a variety of subjects is displayed on the Centre's notice boards.
The Village Diary listing local events is kept here. Organisation secretaries can enter details of forthcoming events, to avoid clashes of dates.
