We would be delighted to show you round the centre in order that you can see what we have to offer and to discuss what we can do to facilitate any use or requirement you may have.
Special Events
The centre organises a series of varied events throughout the year, ranging from concerts to amateur dramatics, supper/musical evenings etc
The reading room has a large selection of books, magazines and information leaflets. There is also a selection of table games and provision for making tea and coffee.
Weather permitting the garden at the rear of the building is available as an area suitable for outdoor meetings, barbeques, wedding photography etc.
The first floor Community Room is available for hire for a variety of purposes. This bright attractive room is fully carpeted and depending on the way in which the room is laid out, up to 60 people can be accommodated. A stair lift ensures that this multi-use Community Room is accessible to all. Current uses also include classes in yoga and Pilates etc.
Audio / Visual
A digital data projector is available and capable of showing videos, DVD’s and PowerPoint presentations. A sound system is installed comprising of a CD player and two wireless radio microphones.
Theatre Seating
With the room arranged theatre style up to 60 people can be seated comfortably. A full blackout can be achieved for activities or events which require this facility.
Seating with Tables
The room can be furnished with either rectangular or circular tables which can be arranged in various ways for group discussions, seminars, lectures etc.
Catering
We can arrange the catering for your event.
We offer a selection of sandwiches and finger buffet items. We can also provide hot and cold drinks.
We also offer tuition on a range of topics at varying ability levels.

Members enjoy many privileges such as discounted ticket prices for special events. Membership details can be obtained by visiting the Centre's office or consulting the website.
The Centre’s fully equipped office can offer the following facilities at very reasonable rates:
photocopying; laminating; etc. Within the reading room, access to PC computers running Windows together with scanner and colour printer is also available. intellegat ex est.
