To promote the activities of The Old Library Centre
The centre is open to everyone and often welcomes tourists and visitors from abroad. Our staff will be pleased to show you round so that you can see for yourself what we have to offer.
The Centre is open on Weekdays 10 am - 12 noon and 2 pm - 4 pm and is also open on Wednesday evenings at 7.30 pm - 9.30 pm and at other times by arrangement.
The Community Room offers facilities for conferences, training courses and all kinds of meetings and is fully equipped with a stereo sound system, wall mounted screen, Overhead projector, laptop, Wi-Fi and has wireless microphones.
This room is also ideal for staging events such as concerts, exhibitions, craft fairs etc.
The Centre's fully equipped office offers the following facilities:
Photocopying up to A3 size, Enlargement and Reduction of documents, Shredding, Stapling, Laminating, Faxing, Cutting and Trimming.
Our staff will be pleased to advise you of any cost involved for the above services.
The Reading Room contains a large selection of books suitable for all ages. The books can be borrowed to enjoy at home, simply by recording the titles in the lending folder. There are also some table games available.
Facilities are provided to make tea and coffee, for which a small charge is made.
A range of information leaflets and posters covering a variety of subjects is displayed on the Centre's notice boards.
The Village Diary listing local events is kept here. Organisation secretaries can enter details of forthcoming events, to avoid clashes of date.
